Heath was born at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and grew up on the north side of Houston. Very early on, Heath possessed a natural gift for singing which he was able to cultivate and surrounded himself to learn more from the best people around him.
Being under the guidance of reknowned voice teacher Ray Sullenger, as well as lessons for acting, guitar, and music, developed and honed in his increasing potential with his singing skills.
Heath's appearanced as a finalist on "Catch A Rising Star" and "Star Search". Other credits include appearances with Toby Keith, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Maria Muldaur, Richard Gere, and regular appearances with Guy Schwartz and the New Jack Hippies. He has performed in venues such as The Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, The The State Fair of Texas (on the MP3.com stage), Billy Block's Western Beat Roots Reunion at Nashville's Xit/In, The Davis County Fair in Salt Lake City and The Party on the Plaza in downtown Houston, Texas.
In 1996, he released his first CD under the Starmania Records label. In 1999, his second CD was released by Space City Records and is only available on the internet and off of the bandstand. Currently, Heath is working with New Jack Hippies Guy Schwartz & Roger Tausz producing his new album.
