The Hassell Benefit Run 2011
Was a HUGE success with
hundreds of cars, motorcycles, trucks, people,
and participating sponsors.
I don't have the final tally
yet, but with raffle tickets, a silent auction,
b-b-q plates, drinks, and t-shirts hopefully it
has helped Lynn and Connie Hassell put at least
a small dent in their medical and housing cost
from their accident in August 2011.
They were hit riding their
Harley Davidson motorcycle and sustained severe
injuries which required several surgeries and
rehab. After spending 30 days in the hospital
they were released and sent home with nursing
care. They still have several surgeries needed
to rebuild both of their right legs. Curtis
Pogue and the other sponsors will be donating
100% of the proceeds to Lynn and Connie to help
with their expenses.
We
will have more information in a few days, with
the winners in each category and a list of the
sponsors that helped out... Make sure to visit
the sponsors and let them know that you heard
about them from the benefit so they will be
happy to donate their time and money next time
